In a beautiful building in the St Emilioin area of France, amongst some of the most prestigious vineyards in the world, is the Le Dôme winery, home to the award winning wines created by Jonathan Maltus OBE.
The Le Dôme building is the brain child of Jonathan Maltus and was designed by Lord Norman Foster. It is both modern and vernacular, settling modestly into the landscape. Inside is a state of the art sophisticated winery buried below ground. This is overlooked by an exhibition gallery with views to the surrounding vineyards. In this wonderful space I will be showing some of my work in a solo exhibition from the 19th August to the 17th October.
I have created sixteen new pictures for this special exhibition, “Vinum Vita Est”, all with a grape theme. This has been challenging and exhilarating in equal measure!
This wonderful opportunity has come my way because of the friendship of Jonathan and his artist wife Catherine.
